BBVA Compass Bolsters Healthcare Wealth Management Group

BBVA Compass, a US-based subsidiary of Spain’s Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, has appointed Dustin Lamb as vice president of healthcare financial solutions within the bank’s wealth management group. In his new Dallas, Texas-based role Lamb will provide a range of financial services to medical practices and doctors including cash management, equipment financing and insurance and investment services, in addition to traditional banking. Lamb joins BBVA Compass from Wachovia, where he served as a vice president within the private bank. Prior to this he had been an assistant vice president of business banking at Chase Bank. Mark Reily, executive vice president and north central Texas regional executive within BBVA Compass’ wealth management unit, said in a statement that Lamb’s appointment to this newly-created role is a visible indication of the importance of growing the bank's healthcare financial solutions unit in Dallas. BBVA Compass has 724 branches across the “Sun Belt” - the south and southwestern states – including 387 in Texas, 92 in Alabama, 65 in California, 77 in Arizona, 45 in Florida, 36 in Colorado and 22 in New Mexico.
